Spring Flower Festival - Exhibition of the University Bonsai Club

The usual spring flower festival took place last weekend at the University of Horticulture in Budapest. Traditionally all bonsai clubs in Budapest make a small exhibit at this event. As a member of the University Bonsai Club (Egyetemi Bonsai Club), I took part on this exhibit and am sharing some photos I've made during the show.
Here are some overview pictures:

Later I will show some pictures from the individual trees as well.

Last weekend I have been to the bonsai exhibition in Nitra, Slovakia. Here are some pictures I have taken at the exhibition. First a shohin sized sumo olive.
A Pinus parviflora.
A very nice Pinus uncinata with a well developed, round canopy, one of my favorites from the show.
A field elm.
A very interesting chinese elm with a penjing-ish look.
A nice hawthorn.
An amazing juniper from an Italian exhibitor, Patrizia Capellaro.
An other nice juniper.
A strange olive.
A Rhododendron indicum.
A Pinus thunbergii, another one of my favorites. Interestingly, every year for the last 3 years since I'm visiting this exhibition in Nitra, my absolute favorites are Pinus thunbergiis.
An elm, if I'm not mistaken.
György Rácz from Hungary, giving a demo with a collected Pinus nigra with his typical styling tool, working on a jin :). The decorations on the site with the terrible paintings were really awful :(
The tree is getting smaller, and beginning to take some shape. It was a pretty difficult material.
Robert Steven was a guest demonstrator at the show. Here he is explaining his thoughts about some of the exhibited trees.
